The user gorgoroth6669 posted an awesome recording of some wolves, somewhere in norge. Http://www. Freesound. Org/people/gorgoroth6669/sounds/76456/. I needed it mono, but the upload was stereo. So, in the process of rendering a mono version. . . I decided to tinker. There's high & low pass filtering as well as a 4 band eq applied. Seems to have significantly reduced the noise. I also forced zero crossings :]. Figured i'd post in case anyone can make use of it√. Takk gorgoroth6669!.
Recorded on an early march morning at a ranch in the rocky mountains of colorado with a zoom h2 using the internal mics. A group of about twenty sled dogs greet a visitor enthusiastically. The higher barks and yips are the siberian huskies and the lower howls and moans are the alaskan malamutes. The dogs were excited and getting ready for a sled ride, their favorite activity (after eating).
The wolves howl under the moon at night. Synthesizer used: v-station, 3 sine vcos, filter: just a little bit resonance, pitch modulation with lfos and wheel, eq and delay.
06. 22. 16: a dogsled passes by, left to right, down a hill. Composed by combining extracts from the following sounds:. Https://freesound. Org/people/robinhood76/sounds/88011/ https://www. Freesound. Org/people/betchkal/sounds/258326/. Made for a title sequence featuring a dogsled.
A pack of coyotes wailing. Lots of frog and cricket noises too. Recorded in a small valley, so there is lots of reverb and echo. Great scary movie ambience! recorded on a zoom h4n.

Just for test the new interface of freesound upload files i record tis sound, it's my first atemt to record something in uncompressed wav format in my dm-520.
Rather a niche combination of sounds downloaded from this site for a children's halloween party for a room made up to be a witch's grotto with bubbling cauldron. A stereo mp3 file with crackling fire and bubbling cauldron to the right and dripping cave sounds and spooky animals and beasts to the left.
Playing with a cute lower middle-size mixed breed dog. Recorded using a zoom h2. On flac and ogg vorbis audio file formats. Contact me if you have interest in specific sounds for open source or commercial purpose.
